This committee consists of the Vice-President of Property, a Chairperson and additional members who may assume specific roles such as Kitchen Manager, Volunteer Coordinator or contact person for building emergencies.
"Buildings and Grounds" is responsible for managing the operation and maintenance of the church buildings and grounds. This includes overseeing safety and security issues, energy needs and conservation; reviewing insurance coverage and making changes as needed.
The committee meets twice a year to assess near-term and long-term needs for maintenance, repairs and improvements. It determines which projects require contractors, which can be performed by volunteers, and schedules both.
