CONTINUING THE CONVERSATION:
END OF LIFE DISCUSSION WORKSHOP
As a result of the worship service offered in January about Death & Dying; along with the continued requests to have continued conversations around this topic, a team of facilitators has come together to offer a 7 week discussion group beginning on Wednesday April 7th at 7:30pm in the Parish Hall. Some of the topics include how to talk with children and youth about death, self-care of the caregiver, ethical wills, and memorial planning for ourselves and our loved ones...and even those we have difficulty loving. If you are interested in participating in this group, please be in contact with Rev. Judith, Ministerial Intern Misty-Dawn, Dennis Byrne, Bob Laptew, or Margaret Tabor. (note: will not meet the third Wednesday of the month due to Standing Committee Meeting.)

PARENTING AT HOME & IN OUR COMMUNITY
runs six weeks, through June 1
Join Rev. Judith and Rosemary Schantz for this opportunity to explore and understand the role of parent. We'll build the weekly topics as a group but common themes of understanding child AND parent development will be the overall weekly focus. Let's think about how we go about the challenges of raising loving, competent, responsible children and support each other when we hit that bump in the road. Parents of all age children are welcome to share, affirm, create and discover new and "tried and true tricks of the trade". Join Justine Sullivan and Misty-Dawn Shelly for an informational discussion about the business of the Association that will be done in Minneapolis, MN. On Sunday June 20th, the conversation continues, let your delegates know where you stand on a particular issue and send them off to General Assembly which begins Wednesday June 23rd!
