In the case of bad weather, the most important thing is for everyone to be safe. Please do not travel to First Parish for Sunday morning worship if you feel that doing so would be unsafe. If there is an actual state of emergency (declared by the governor), services will be cancelled. Otherwise, the decision to cancel worship and religious education will be made by the morning’s worship leader and the Director of Religious Education. The decision to cancel services will be announced on the outgoing phone message of the church office (508-393-6422), will be sent to the local network television stations, and if possible (power permitting) will be sent out via email and posted on the First Parish website.
