First Parish will be hosting a Community Meal on Wednesday, December 4th.  This free meal is provided by and served by volunteers from various Northboro churches, including First Parish, which started it in 1996.

Please check your calendars and let us know if you are able to help.

Please note the temporary location – while the kitchen remodel is underway at Trinity Church:  Church of the Nativity, 45 Howard Street, Northborough (just past Zeh School, on the left.)

MENU:   chicken cacciatore with rice, green beans, rolls, assorted cookies/bars, and juice/coffee

Needed:

FOOD:

  •      3 – 4  volunteers to make or purchase 3 dozen of your favorite cookies/bars

** Please note: if you use mushrooms in any recipe, please be sure to note it as one patron is severely allergic to mushrooms.

 

SET-UP:  

  •        5 – 6 People – Starting at 4:15. This includes table and chair set-up, setting tables and serving stations.

 

SERVERS:

  • 8 People – Serving starts promptly at 6:00

 

CLEAN UP:

  • All hands on deck!  Obviously the more people we have the quicker it goes. (we are typically finished by 7:15-7:30)
