Holiday time can be filled with joy, expectation, excitement, and beautiful memories. It can also be filled with hectic activity, dread, annoyance, and sad or angry memories. It can be especially difficult to cope with the holiday season after a loss of any kind, whether it is due to death, divorce, a move, an empty nest, or any other life event that is experienced as a loss. Please join us in the Parish Hall on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 1:30-3:30 as we offer support to one another regarding Coping with the Holidays. This session will be facilitated by Ginger Meyette, a retired hospice grief counselor and social worker. Ginger will bring her own stories and ideas, but there will be plenty of opportunities for sharing from the participants. Handouts will be provided as well as light refreshments.
