Safari Sunday “Transformative Ministry”

In Hudson (Unitarian Church of Marlborough and Hudson) 10:30 am
Please join us for a spiritual adventure with our Summer Safari Series, where we travel and share Sunday services with area UU churches. This Sunday, UCMH hosts fellow churches and Rev. Alice presents “Transformative Ministry Moments.”

The Rev. Gordon B. McKeeman wrote, “Ministry is all that we do-Together. Ministry is that quality of being in community that affirms human dignity-beckons forth hidden possibilities, invites us into deeper, more constant, reverent relationships, and carries forward our heritage of hope and liberation.”

Rev. Alice will share true stories of transformative ministry moments when congregants of all ages have acted with Love and Compassion to build the sort of community McKeeman describes.

Rev. Alice Anacheka-Nasemann is the minister at UCMH, co-founder of the Spiritual Growth & Community Center, and a Certified Laughter Yoga Instructor. An honors graduate of Andover Newton Theological School, she is the co-author of the UU curricula for children, Moral Tales, Faithful Journeys, Love Will Guide Us, and World of Wonder. Rev. Alice lives in Hudson with her spouse, Alan, their home-schooled teenager, a dog, and two cats. They’re all delighted to welcome her young adult home for college breaks. In her spare time she enjoys walks in the woods, contra dancing, live action role play, and reading.

Please join us after the service for coffee, tea, refreshments, and fellowship in our Worship Cafe ~ everyone is welcome to participate!

UCMH is located at 80 Main Street (Route 62) in Downtown Hudson, at the corner of Church and Main Streets.
