(in Parish Hall with pot luck brunch)
In Scare City, people are divided in fear of the “other.”
Brittany Packnett, cited by President Barack Obama as a leader who’s “voice is going to be making a difference,” challenges us to discover the abundance that comes when we draw the circle wide.
Our service will be led by the Justice Ministry Team in Parish Hall. We will have a “normal” in-gathering with music, readings and our Chalice Lighting. We will share our Joys and Concerns before we serve a Pot Luck Brunch. The idea is to quietly eat together while we watch the video of the 2018 Ware Lecture (delivered to the UUA General Assembly by Brittany Packnett 6/2018).
We will close with singing!
Please bring something ready to eat to share, but there will be plenty if you are unable to do so.
