Stewardship
2019: Cabaret Night
The 2019 Stewardship Season began with a festive Cabaret Night, featuring members of First Parish who sang and performed to delight the audience. We are blessed with a talented congregation who offered a myriad of entertainments, and we thank each and every one who made this an event so remarkable.
Special thanks to Jeff Hagelberg, who rustled the talent for the evening, and offered his beautiful original compositions, and our pianist extraordinaire Olga Rogach. Caroline MacDonald, Barb Robey, and Lori Pandit created a lovely setting and food for the evening, and Bob MacDonald and Dave Sherman were our technical wizards.
Finale: Sacred Earth – Sacred Work
On April 21st, the church service included the younger members of our congregation, as they took the stage to celebrate First Parish and our values of inclusion, equality, compassion and caring.
Rev. Lynda Sutherland coordinated a team effort to create a unique and powerful service honoring our commitment to our Planet Earth and the future of our children. Thanks to all who contributed to make this a memorable event for our church year. This service will long be remembered for the central contribution of our young people, and the ceremonies that were an intrinsic part of our celebration of our Blue Planet.
